Coach Bill and Assistant Coach Mary with Assistant Coach Evan brought some of the team June 2016 to Florida and again June 2017 & 2018 Webb's Tornadoes placed 9th in the INTERNATIONAL meet
out of 38 teams from 8 countries!!
Coach Bill and 8 swimmers from Webb's Tornadoes also qualified &
competed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Congrats!
Coach Bill Edward, coach of U.S. Olympic swimmers, olympic trialists....
Coach Bill Edward: coached Bentley University Swim Team, American Swim Coach Level V (highest attainable level), Head Coach of South Shore Strypers 13 yrs, Head Coach of Cohasset/Scituate Swim Team 3 yrs; Swimmers have reached the Olympics, Olympic trials, National Champions, National record holders, MA State Champs and over 100 All-American wins.
Assistant Coach Mary McGunnigal: Assumption graduate; presently teaching school, WSI 10 years, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer; Lifeguard Webb's & SSCC, SSCC Swim Coach; SSCC Swim Instructor; Webb's Hurricane's Swim Coach.
Assistant Coach: Evan Baxter: WSI certified swim instructor; Lifeguard certified; Assistant Swim Team Coach Hurricanes.
Swimmers work on training in correct technique in all aspects of competitive swimming including:
all four strokes, starts, turns, race strategies and more! Read on registration form for more info on Swim Meets and competitions, etc
The swimmers will draw upon Bill's expertise to improve on all aspects of their swim training.
